Emma Russell (AKA Helle Emma) is a London-based freelance illustrator specialising in line drawings, flat colour and patterns. She also makes 3D paper models. Her work is often about unlikely heroes, jokes, memory, animals and stories.
Emma grew up by the sea in Devon and now lives in east London with a large flock of imaginary animals who often sneak into her work and a real dog who often sneaks into her kitchen.
