Hi,

I am Maya and I am a quirky, dreamy, retro, surrealistic collage artist living under the clouds and sunshine in London, UK.

I have always created art, since I can remember. When I was little I remember seeing my father create his designs and bring them to life, which is what initially inspired me to create art. That process of creating and the finishing result seemed so magical to me…but instead of creating something that is possible I have always rather wanted to create something impossible, and art has given me the freedom to do so. I guess this is why I am a surrealist. I take something from two separate realities and create a new reality, which still speaks the mutual language of both. Art has taught me many valuable lessons about life and myself, but the most important one is that nothing is impossible.

My work is inspired by people and life around me. I am hoping that my art will inspire you, provoke you and be there for you.
