Elizabeth is a former 1st Class Chelsea College of Art and design graduate. She began her career as a freelance designer, selling hand-painted silk prints to international fashion houses and high-street suppliers before following her dream of starting her own label ‘Elizabeth Kate’ in 2011 and later opening a shop in London’s West-end.
Elizabeth's collection's are ultimately timeless with a touch of fun and frivolous glamour.
Inspirations are taken from imaginative dreams, hidden worlds and fictional creatures that engage the buyer with their inner child. Elizabeth Kate seamlessly merges the mundane with the beautiful to create a sense of hyperrealism.
Precious and bejewelled stones are complimented with delicate hand-drawn lace and butterfly constellations that are layered to create depth. Creepy crawlies, dragonflies and beetles with ornate encrusted bodies provide a humorous opulence.
