Bio:
After specialising in printed textiles at Chelsea College of Art and Design Lale designed soft furnishings with Sir Terence Conran for 2 years before becoming a freelance designer and artist. She lived and worked in Cape Town for 2013 - 2014 and is now back in London.
All my original work is hand drawn in HB pencil. The key is to keep the pencil sharp to make sure I can get all the tiny details drawn accurately. After scanning at very high resolution to capture every mark, the image is only cleaned around the edges and levels are tweaked so that the prints detail and contrast looks as close to the original as possible.
